The app features an intelligent compass that orients you in the correct direction based on your location and chosen route.

The Right Information, When You Need It

TrekRight provides location-specific information tailored to your current whereabouts. As you approach Melide, the app informs you of the remaining distance, nearby attractions, water fountain locations, lodging options for the night, and grants access to interactive elevation profile charts. It allows you to review flagged attractions, notes, and favorites with ease, ensuring you are well-informed throughout your journey.

Caminopedia

TrekRight’s 'Camino Encyclopedia' comprises interactive reference material categorized into Communities, Shelters, Attractions, Services, Points of Interest, and Route Sections. Users can search, filter, view entries on a map, add notes ranging from reservation details to website excerpts, and more. This feature offers convenient information at your fingertips.

Interactive Offline Maps

The app boasts a powerful map displaying your current location on the chosen route along with pins indicating all locations in the Caminopedia. You can touch a pin to access its related Caminopedia entry. Detailed zoom-able offline maps are included for seamless access even without an internet connection. Online maps are also available for configuration into street maps, satellite view, terrain view, or hybrid view, enhancing your navigation experience along the Camino.

Intelligent Compass

Besides standard compass functionality, TrekRight’s intelligent compass guides you based on your present location and selected route, updating dynamically as you progress. Special compass indicators point towards the end point of your current section and show the immediate direction you should take considering all turns in your route. This feature ensures you stay on track without risk of losing your way.

Pre-Camino Planning & Preparation

TrekRight streamlines route planning by enabling you to configure desired sections, divide them into stages, assess distances and elevations using an interactive Elevation Profile Chart. The app comes with pre-defined popular route options and allows users to review and rank albergues, mark locations as favorites, add personal notes, ensuring thorough preparation before starting the journey.

Up-To-Date Content

TrekRight's content undergoes regular updates based on the latest available information. Users can check for updates directly within the app and download the database at their convenience without connecting to the App Store. This feature guarantees users have access to current information during their expedition.

No Internet Connection Required

All content within TrekRight is stored locally on your device including detailed offline maps once downloaded. The app eliminates the need for an internet connection throughout your journey.
